3.2 Compliance with the above criteria does not automatically give an applicant the right to become a zipcar member. Acceptance of the applicant`s affiliation is subject to Zipcar`s approval at its sole discretion and, without limitation of the above, membership may be denied on the basis of other factors that Zipcar determines at its discretion. In addition, even if approved for membership, a member may be prevented from driving certain Zipcar vehicles at Zipcar`s sole discretion, or for reasons, including, but not limited, to the member`s driving or membership history or Zipcar`s service offerings. b. “first member”: the person who is intended to receive and pay all membership-related fees, fees and other fees, including application fees, dues, transportation and other fees or fees, as set out in the rules and schedules described below. Members who comply with the membership agreement are insured during the journey with a Zipcar by Zipcar liability insurance for damage to the Zipcar vehicle. In the event of an incident, members are responsible for a damage cost of up to 1000 $US on the Zipcar vehicle, and all other damage to the Zipcar vehicle is covered by Zipcar insurance. As long as you cancel your subscription within 30 days of signing up, you can get a full refund for all fees paid. In the event of an accident in Zipcar, you are covered by car insurance. As long as you comply with your Zipcar membership agreement, you will be covered by Zipcar insurance in the event of an accident. Although the driver is responsible for a damage cost of up to $1,000, Zipcar pays damages that go beyond that amount. In order to eliminate or reduce damage costs, drivers can acquire an optional damage protection plan, also called non-commission of Zipcar damage. 4.1 The member agrees to pay Zipcar all applicable driving/insurance records, applications, memberships and similar costs related to the member`s driving/affiliation plan. These fees (if any) will not be refunded, whether or not Zipcar`s application is accepted or a member`s membership ceases to be exercised and new review/application fees may be due if a new application for membership is re-applied to Zipcar more than thirty (30) days after the closing of the member account. If your transportation/subscription plan includes an annual or monthly fee, you will be charged your initial fee within five days of the membership authorization, activate your Zipcard, and will only be refunded if you cancel your subscription within the first 30 days of the membership authorization. In this contract, the following definitions apply: a. “member” or “you”: the person registered as the first member and, unless expressly stated otherwise in this contract, any associate member.
